Located in Oak Cliff—a historically underrepresented and culturally rich area of Dallas—this establishment is yet another example of failing to reflect the vibrant community it serves. Oak Cliff is predominantly made up of minorities, with a strong Hispanic and Black presence, yet their social media shows little to no representation of people of color. Despite being rooted in a largely Spanish-speaking neighborhood, there's not a single effort toward language inclusivity. It's disappointing to see such a disconnect in a place that should celebrate and uplift the diversity around it instead of taking up space.

The best little neighborhood spot for play dates. We love to come feed the pigs and chickens, or just roam around and play on the playsets. It's such a treat when we're able to attend local events, or even purchase the recent harvest, like fresh collard greens that we got to make for Thanksgiving. A neighborhood gem!

The farm is such a gift to the neighborhood - between the community composting program, open farm Fridays, and dinners and music events, the farm does a great job of connecting with the community.

Elmwood Farm is a great community asset - they host events (farm dinners, concerts, flower picking, and more); they have monthly volunteer days; and have an active community compost program. Our family loves the ability to slow down and enjoy this space, tucked in North Oak Cliff, with friends and neighbors.
